Samsung updates SmartThings for an easier everyday life
Technology giant Samsung has announced a major update to its smart home platform, SmartThings. The new feature, named "SmartThings Now," is designed to make it easier for users to control their electronic appliances at home.
The biggest change is taking place in the app's "Home" tab. Using new technology, the app will now be able to provide the user with more personalized information. This means that the system automatically suggests controls and settings based on what the user needs right there and then.
The purpose of the update is to make the user experience more intuitive. Instead of the user having to search through many menus, the most important functions will appear automatically when they are relevant. This is intended to save time and make it easier to manage everything from lighting and heating to other smart devices.
Samsung states that the changes are part of a larger initiative to make smart homes more accessible to the general public. The update is currently being rolled out to users worldwide, including in Norway, over the coming weeks. With this change, the company hopes to create a more seamless everyday life for everyone who uses their smart home solutions.
