Security Operation in Balochistan: Five Soldiers Martyred and Seven Terrorists Killed
Security forces have conducted a major operation in the Nushki area of Balochistan. During this action, five personnel, including an officer of the Pakistan Army, were martyred, while seven terrorists were killed in the retaliatory action by security forces.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted based on intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists. The Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps (FC) jointly participated in this action. Security forces cordoned off the area, targeted terrorist hideouts, and took strict action against them.
A heavy cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered from the possession of the terrorists during the operation. Officials stated that these terrorists were attempting to disrupt the law and order situation in the area. Currently, a 'sanitization' operation is underway in the area to completely eliminate any other potential threats.
The government and military leadership have paid tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of the martyred personnel. They expressed their resolve that such operations will continue until the complete eradication of terrorism from the country. Establishing peace and stability in Balochistan is the top priority of the security forces.
