Pakistan's First National Summit on Artificial Intelligence in the Health Sector
A significant national conference titled 'AI x Health 2026' was held at LUMS University in Lahore on May 16, 2026. This was the first summit of its kind in Pakistan, aimed at understanding and promoting the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare.
More than 150 experts from across the country participated in the event. These included doctors, scientists researching artificial intelligence, and startup founders working in the technology sector. The participants discussed how modern technology can be utilized to make patient treatment better and faster.
During the conference, experts discussed the challenges faced in the health sector and their potential technological solutions.
