33 Pakistani scholars to depart for the UK for higher education
33 brilliant students and scholars from Pakistan will soon travel to the UK to pursue higher education. These scholars have been selected under the 'Chevening' and 'Commonwealth' scholarships, which are counted among the most prestigious academic scholarships in the world.
These scholarships are fully funded, meaning that the entire burden of these students' tuition fees, accommodation, and travel expenses will be borne by the British government. These scholars hail from various cities across Pakistan and will pursue master's degrees in their respective fields at renowned British universities.
The purpose of this program is to provide Pakistani students with international-standard education so that they can return and work for the country's development in their respective fields. After studying in the UK, these scholars will return with modern skills and experiences that will prove helpful in bringing improvements to Pakistan's various public and private sectors.
According to a statement issued by the British High Commission, this initiative is an effort to further strengthen educational and cultural ties between Pakistan and the UK. Such educational opportunities not only shape the future of the students but also deepen the bond of friendship between the two countries.
