Saudi Arabia Introduces New 'Package Visa' for Pakistanis: Travel Now Even Easier
The Government of Saudi Arabia has introduced a new 'Package Visa' for Pakistani citizens and travelers from other countries. The primary objective of this new initiative is to make the visa acquisition process simpler and faster than before for tourists visiting Saudi Arabia.
According to details released by the Saudi Tourism Authority, under this new facility, travelers will now be able to apply for a tourist visa while booking their trip. This visa is part of an integrated system, which means that travelers will no longer need to go through a separate, lengthy process for the visa.
This news is of significant importance for Pakistan, as hundreds of thousands of Pakistani citizens travel to Saudi Arabia every year for the purpose of performing Umrah and for tourism. This new system will not only save time but will also reduce the difficulties faced by ordinary travelers in preparing travel documents.
This initiative is an important part of Saudi Arabia's 'Vision 2030,' under which the country aims to shift its economy away from oil dependence toward tourism and other sectors. The Saudi government's goal is to provide the best and most modern facilities to tourists coming from all over the world.
Experts say that such digital facilities will increase people-to-people contacts between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Travelers are advised to refer to the official Saudi Tourism website for more information about this visa and the application method.
