UN Secretary-General praises Pakistan's diplomatic role
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has recently lauded Pakistan's efforts to de-escalate tensions between the United States and Iran. He praised the 'key role' Pakistan has played in maintaining peace in the region.
António Guterres stated that diplomacy is extremely essential in the current global climate. He urged all relevant parties to adopt the path of dialogue to resolve conflicts and to avoid any further escalation of tensions.
Pakistan had also offered mediation in the past to improve relations between the United States and Iran. The international community believes that this positive role of Pakistan is crucial for bringing stability to the region, as the consequences of any major war could affect the entire region.
the UN chief emphasized that the resolution of international issues is only possible through peace and negotiations. He appealed to global powers to demonstrate responsibility so that the world can be saved from any major crisis.
Satisfaction has been expressed by Pakistan regarding this praise. The Government of Pakistan has always emphasized that it desires peace in the region and does not want conflict with any country.
Pakistan's diplomatic role will continue to hold importance at the global level in the future as well. According to global observers, these efforts by Pakistan could prove to be a significant step toward restoring peace not only in the region but across the entire world.
