The match was played with expectations of a tough contest between the two teams, but the Sri Lankan team showcased a brilliant performance to secure the win.
The match began with Pakistan batting, where the Pakistani players scored 110 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. The Pakistani batters failed to set a big target against the Sri Lankan bowlers, which resulted in the team being restricted to a difficult score.
In response, the Sri Lankan team chased the target with great confidence.
