Higher Education Commission's New Online System for Degree Attestation
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has introduced a new and fully online system to simplify the degree attestation process. The objective of this new system is to make the degree verification process fast, transparent, and paperless for students. Candidates will no longer need to visit HEC offices to verify their educational documents.
Under this new 'e-Attestation' system, applicants can submit their applications online at any time of the day. This system will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, saving students time and money. Previously, candidates often had to face long queues and extensive waiting periods, but now all this work can be completed via the internet.
According to the HEC, this new system is completely digital, and special care has been taken regarding document security. With the use of modern technology, the degree attestation process has become more secure, which will also help in preventing forged documents. All educational information will be verified digitally to eliminate the possibility of any errors.
This initiative is a significant step toward modernizing the higher education system in Pakistan. It will not only benefit students living within the country but also make it much easier for Pakistanis residing abroad to get their educational credentials verified. This new HEC system will prove to be a positive change for the promotion of digitalization in the country.
