Iran acknowledges exchange of messages through Pakistan and Qatar
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that the exchange of messages between Iran and the United States continues through Pakistan and Qatar. However, officials clarified that there are currently no direct negotiations taking place between the two countries.
According to the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, friendly countries like Pakistan and Qatar are playing the role of mediators to reduce regional tensions. Through these countries, Iran informs the US of its position, and similarly, messages from the US are conveyed to Iran.
This development comes at a time when there is global concern regarding the situation in the Middle East. Pakistan's role in this regard is considered extremely important because Islamabad maintains diplomatic relations with both Tehran and Washington.
Iran has emphasized that it desires peace and stability in the region and is prepared to continue dialogue through diplomatic channels. Currently, the purpose of these messages is to clear up misunderstandings and prevent the escalation of tensions.
Observers say that such diplomatic efforts by Pakistan are a positive step toward establishing peace in the region. It remains to be seen in the coming days whether this exchange of messages will lead to any major change in relations between Iran and the United States.
