Use of advanced technology for drone surveillance on the Pak-India border
India's Border Security Force (BSF) has introduced a new and advanced system to deal with the growing threat of drones on its western border with Pakistan. According to officials, the purpose of this new strategy is to strictly curb illegal activities coming from across the border.
According to reports, the BSF has shot down or seized approximately 160 drones at the border over the last seven months. These figures show that the use of drones at the border has become a major security challenge, which has necessitated the security forces to further improve their surveillance systems.
In this new 'anti-drone grid', artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced drone technology are being utilized. This system includes modern equipment such as 'Dronam' and 'Hawai Nakay' (aerial checkpoints), which have the capability to immediately identify and neutralize the movement of any suspicious drone in the air.
The purpose of this technology is to make border security foolproof so that any kind of illegal transportation or espionage can be prevented. Experts say that the use of modern technology is a significant advancement in border management, which reduces the possibility of human error.
These strict security measures in the border areas are impacting the situation in the region. Officials say that they will continue to increase their reliance on modern equipment and technology to maintain peace and order at the border in the future.
