Major Changes in Global Economy and Technology: Rise in Digital Payments and New Global Policies

Nowadays, several significant changes are being observed in the world of the global economy and technology. While on one hand, the trend of digital payments is rapidly increasing, on the other hand, fluctuations in technology prices and global markets continue. These changes are having a profound impact not only on investors but also on the lives of ordinary consumers.

According to a recent report regarding the financial sector in Pakistan, payments worth 169 trillion rupees were made through digital means during the period from July to March. Mobile banking apps, internet portals, and the use of ATMs were at the forefront of these payments. On the other hand, the famous technology company Apple has increased the prices of its iPad and MacBook. The company states that due to the growing trend of Artificial Intelligence (AI), computer chip prices have risen, necessitating the price hike for its products.

Looking at the situation in global markets, after record gains in Japan's stock market 'Nikkei', investors' attention is now shifting. Along with this, a decrease in gold and oil prices has also been observed. Following the drop in gold prices, experts believe that its price could decrease further in the coming days. Similarly, the prices of crude oil and palm oil have also declined, with technical changes in the global market being cited as the reason.

In the currency market, the US dollar is strengthening once again, and major Wall Street banks expect its value to increase further. In contrast, South Africa's currency, the 'Rand', has seen some improvement against the dollar. Economic experts are attributing these changes to global inflation and the economic policies of various countries.

Another major development in the field of technology is that the United Nations has, for the first time, approved global regulations for self-driving cars. The purpose of these regulations is to set uniform international standards for driverless vehicles worldwide to ensure safer road travel in the future.

Overall, all these events show that the world is rapidly moving towards digitalization and new technology. Although price increases and market fluctuations are creating challenges for consumers, the expansion of new global regulations and digital systems is also paving new ways for the future economy.
