New program launched to improve healthcare facilities in Pakistan
The 'National Health Support Program' has been launched to improve the health sector in Pakistan. The primary objective of this program is to strengthen the primary healthcare system across the country so that ordinary citizens can have access to better medical treatment facilities.
Under this project, cooperation between the Government of Pakistan and international partners is being promoted. According to a World Bank report, this program will operate on the principle of co-financing, which will help address the shortage of resources in health centers.
Under the program, health centers in rural and urban areas will be equipped with modern equipment, and focus will also be placed on the training of medical staff. The goal is to make maternal and child health, immunization, and timely disease diagnosis processes more effective.
Officials state that this partnership will bring sustainability to the health sector, and in the long term, the public will have access to quality medical facilities. This project could prove to be a significant advancement in Pakistan's health system, from which millions of people will benefit.
