Bilawal Bhutto's Important Statement on 28th Amendment and Budget Negotiations
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has stated that there are currently no discussions regarding the 28th Constitutional Amendment. He clarified that the government would strictly need the PPP's support to make any changes to the Constitution. Bilawal Bhutto made these remarks while speaking to the media during a visit to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.
Bilawal Bhutto mentioned that his party is now focusing on negotiations with the government regarding the national budget. He said that the PPP's objective is to prioritize the people's issues in the budget. According to him, the rising inflation in the country has significantly affected the lives of common citizens; therefore, it is essential to provide relief in the budget.
Speaking about provincial rights, the PPP Chairman said that his party has always strived to strengthen the federation. He claimed that the PPP has ensured equal representation for all provinces in the Supreme Court and the Federal Constitutional Court. He believes that this step will improve the judicial system and address the concerns of the provinces.
