Consideration to enhance trade relations between Pakistan and Tanzania
Pakistan's High Commissioner-designate to Tanzania, Faheem-ur-Rehman Sehgal, met with the President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). The primary objective of this meeting is to strengthen trade and economic relations between Pakistan and African countries.
During the discussion, ways to increase exports from Pakistan to African markets were specifically deliberated. Faheem-ur-Rehman Sehgal emphasized that the African region could prove to be a large and significant market for Pakistani products.
Lahore Chamber officials agreed that promoting trade cooperation between the two countries would benefit the national economy. They stated that joint efforts are necessary to resolve the problems faced by traders and to explore new business opportunities.
This meeting is part of the Government of Pakistan's 'Look Africa' policy, which aims to consolidate trade ties with the African continent. This initiative is expected to open new doors for Pakistani exporters.
In the future, such initiatives will not only increase bilateral trade but will also further strengthen the diplomatic and economic relations between the two countries.
