Reforms initiated to improve medical facilities at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS)
Islamabad's largest public hospital, the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), has launched a new reform program to improve the medical facilities provided to patients. The primary objective of this initiative is to modernize the hospital's system and provide better treatment facilities to the public.
According to the administration, under these reforms, modern medical equipment is being installed in various departments of the hospital to make the diagnosis and treatment process faster and more accurate. In addition, a digital system is being introduced to manage patient rush in the hospital, which will make it easier for patients to register and book appointments.
Special attention has also been paid to the training of medical staff in this project. Workshops on modern medical practices will be organized for doctors and nursing staff so that the quality of patient care can be improved in accordance with international standards. The hospital administration says that poor and deserving patients will benefit the most from these measures.
The government has also formed a special committee to oversee this reform process, which will periodically review the progress of these measures. Officials believe that if these reforms are completed successfully, PIMS Hospital will become a model institution for public hospitals across the country.
Overall, these reforms are a significant step in Pakistan's health sector. These measures will not only increase the hospital's efficiency but will also lead to a clear reduction in the difficulties faced by ordinary citizens in seeking treatment.
