Pakistan and Poland have agreed to cooperate to curb illegal migration and increase employment opportunities through legal channels. In this regard, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held an important meeting with Polish officials, in which emphasis was placed on further strengthening the relations between the two countries.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated that as a result of the strict measures taken by the Government of Pakistan, the number of illegal immigrants traveling to Europe has decreased by 64 percent. These figures show that Pakistan is making serious efforts to eradicate human trafficking in order to ensure the safe movement of its citizens.
During the meeting, both countries also agreed to increase cooperation in the security sector and share intelligence information with each other. The purpose of this initiative is not only to control illegal migration but also to improve trade and diplomatic relations between the two countries.
This agreement between Poland and Pakistan is a positive development for those Pakistani citizens who want to seek employment opportunities in Europe through legal means. The government believes that the dangers of illegal migration can only be avoided by facilitating legal pathways.
