Security operation in Pakistan: 11 terrorists killed and large quantity of explosives recovered
Security forces in the southwestern part of Pakistan have claimed to have killed 11 terrorists during a major operation. According to officials, this operation is part of efforts to improve the law and order situation in the country and reduce the threats of terrorism.
During this operation, security forces also recovered 2.9 tons of explosive material from the possession of the terrorists. This is being considered a major success because such a large quantity of explosives could have caused any major tragedy. Officials say that this material was intended to be used for sabotage in various parts of the country.
The ongoing war against terrorism in Pakistan has been continuing for several decades. According to a recent report, estimating the loss of life in violent incidents over the past twenty-five years has been a difficult task. The government has so far released figures of approximately 80,000 deaths.
Experts who keep a close eye on security matters in the country say that the sacrifices of the security forces in the war against terrorism are unforgettable. However, compiling accurate data on the losses incurred over this long period remains a major challenge in order to improve future strategies.
For the success of such operations in the future, there is a need to further intensify intelligence-based operations. The government and security agencies are committed to establishing peace across the country so that a safe environment can be provided to the citizens.
