Various incidents of terrorism in Balochistan, 11 people injured
Two separate incidents of terrorism occurred in Pakistan's Balochistan province on Wednesday, leaving 11 people, including police personnel, injured. According to officials, these attacks took place in different areas of the province, after which security forces cordoned off the area and launched an investigation.
The first incident took place near the provincial capital, Quetta, where unknown individuals targeted a police vehicle. Six police personnel were injured in this attack and were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital. According to the police, the attackers managed to escape from the scene, however, a search operation is underway in the area.
In the second incident, an explosion occurred in another district of the province, resulting in 5 more people being injured. The injured include civilians who have been taken to the hospital for medical treatment. According to hospital sources, the condition of some of the injured is reported to be critical.
The government and security agencies have strongly condemned these attacks. The Chief Minister of Balochistan has sought a report on the incident and directed security officials to further tighten measures to maintain law and order.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for these attacks. The police and other law enforcement agencies are collecting evidence to identify those responsible and bring them to justice.
