Decision made to train 20,000 health workers and create employment opportunities in Pakistan
A significant development has taken place to improve the health sector and create new employment opportunities in Pakistan. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) have launched a joint project in collaboration with Pakistan. The objective of this initiative is to enhance the skills of 20,000 health workers across the country and provide them with better employment.
Under this project, health workers will be taught modern medical skills so that they can provide better medical facilities to the public. This initiative is part of a global program called the 'Global Accelerator,' which aims to increase social protection and employment opportunities in developing countries. The Government of Pakistan is committed to improving the living conditions of those working in the health sector through this project.
Experts say that this project will not only benefit those working in the health sector but will also provide ordinary citizens with access to quality medical facilities. Having trained staff will improve the quality of work in hospitals and primary health centers, which will lead to improvements in the public health system.
Under this project, special attention will also be given to social protection measures so that health workers can have a safe and dignified work environment. This partnership is an important step towards strengthening the health and employment sectors in Pakistan. In the coming times, the positive effects of this project will also be visible in the remote areas of the country.
