Security Operation in Balochistan: Five Soldiers Martyred and Seven Terrorists Killed

Security forces have conducted a major operation against terrorists in the Nushki area of Pakistan's Balochistan province. During this action, five personnel, including an officer of the Pakistan Army, were martyred. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces fought bravely and killed seven terrorists.

This operation was conducted based on intelligence information. The Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps (FC) initiated the action in the Nusham area upon reports of terrorist presence. Security forces surrounded the terrorists' hideouts from all sides, leading to an intense exchange of fire between both sides.

Those martyred include a military officer and four soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the country. On the other hand, all seven killed terrorists were involved in various acts of sabotage in the area. During the operation, security forces also recovered a large quantity of modern weapons and ammunition from the terrorists' possession.

ISPR further stated that a 'sanitization operation' is still underway to completely eliminate terrorists from the area. Security forces are ensuring that no other terrorists or their facilitators are hiding in the area. Forces have cordoned off the entire area and the search process is ongoing.

The government and military leadership have paid a glowing tribute to the sacrifices of the martyred soldiers. They reaffirmed the resolve that such operations will continue until the complete eradication of terrorism from the country. Authorities stated that every possible step will be taken to maintain the law and order situation and the enemy's nefarious designs will not be allowed to succeed.
