State-of-the-art plant for honey bees inaugurated in Pakistan
A significant step has been taken to improve agriculture and honey production in Pakistan. The country's first high-tech and automated 'beeswax foundation sheet' manufacturing factory has been inaugurated at the National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC).
This modern unit is a major breakthrough in the beekeeping sector. The sheets produced in this factory help honey bees build hives, which will make it possible to increase honey production. Previously, Pakistan had to import these sheets from abroad.
The purpose of this project is to improve the quality of honey at the local level and support farmers. The installation of automated machinery will not only increase the speed of work but the quality of the products will also be in accordance with international standards. This initiative will also create new employment opportunities at the local level.
Experts say that the use of this technology will breathe new life into the honey industry. An increase in honey exports from Pakistan is also expected as a result, which is a positive development for the national economy.
There are plans to launch more such projects in the future to establish the agricultural sector on modern lines. The government and relevant institutions are committed to making this effort a success.
