Medical agreements worth $850 million signed between Pakistan and China
The pharmaceutical conference recently held between Pakistan and China has concluded successfully. During this conference, significant agreements worth $850 million have been reached to enhance cooperation in the health sector between the two countries.
Confirming this development, the Federal Minister for Health stated that 16 concrete agreements and 80 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed during the conference. These agreements are considered extremely important for new investments and technology transfer in Pakistan's medical sector.
In these agreements, special focus has been placed on herbal medicines, under which 18 different deals have been finalized. The purpose of this initiative is to establish the traditional medicine industry on modern lines and bring it up to international standards.
