Pakistan and the Middle East: A Key Role in Regional Security
In view of the changing political situation in the Middle East, Pakistan's role in the region has once again gained importance. Experts say that Pakistan is not only an important Islamic country but, due to its geographical significance, is also considered a balancing power in the security of the Middle East.
Pakistan has long-standing and stable relations with Middle Eastern countries. Pakistan's defense and economic ties with Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and other Gulf states are very deep. In recent years, Pakistan has made diplomatic efforts several times in collaboration with these countries for regional peace and stability.
According to global analysts, Pakistan's military and its defense capabilities are a significant asset for Middle Eastern countries. Many Gulf states work with Pakistan for their internal and external security, which maintains a strong defense alliance in the region. These relations are based on mutual trust for both parties.
A key objective of Pakistan's foreign policy is to reduce tension in the region. Pakistan has always advocated that solutions to Middle Eastern issues should be found through dialogue and diplomacy. Because of this policy, Pakistan holds the status of a neutral and reliable mediator in the region.
In the future, Pakistan's role in the economic development and security of the Middle East is likely to increase further. As new changes emerge in the region, Pakistan will continue to play its positive role in establishing peace by utilizing its strategic importance.
