US company's plan to modernize oil refineries in Pakistan
The government of Pakistan is considering a significant project to modernize the country's oil refineries. In this regard, the American company 'Honeywell' has submitted proposals aimed at increasing local oil refining capacity.
The primary objective of this project is to reduce Pakistan's reliance on the import of petroleum products. If this project succeeds, it will not only increase domestic fuel production but also prove to be a major step toward self-reliance in the energy sector.
Officials state that the modernization of refineries will help improve fuel quality and bring it in line with international standards. This is also expected to reduce the import burden on the national economy, which could prove beneficial for Pakistan in the long term.
Currently, the government and relevant institutions are reviewing all technical and financial aspects of the proposal. The implementation of this project is expected to improve Pakistan's energy sector, which would also make the supply of affordable and higher-quality fuel possible for ordinary citizens.
