Strong condemnation of Israeli statements by Pakistan and other Muslim countries
Seven Muslim countries, including Pakistan, have strongly condemned the provocative statements made by Israeli ministers regarding Gaza. These statements suggested the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza, a move that the international community has declared illegal and contrary to human rights.
Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that forcing Palestinians out of their homes is a blatant violation of international law. Pakistan has always supported the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and has expressed deep concern over the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
In a joint statement, other Muslim countries also emphasized that an immediate ceasefire must be implemented in Gaza. These nations assert that such provocative statements undermine efforts to establish peace in the region and lead to an escalation of tensions.
Globally, human rights organizations have also rejected these statements. The United Nations and other international bodies have warned that the forced displacement of Palestinians could exacerbate the humanitarian tragedy, with consequences that would affect the entire region.
Pakistan has called upon the international community to play its role in stopping the ongoing violence in Gaza. Pakistan's stance is that a solution to the Palestine issue is only possible through the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.
