Pakistan and Turkey decide on defense cooperation with Saudi Arabia
Pakistan and Turkey have recently decided to join a defense strategy with Saudi Arabia against Houthi rebels. The purpose of this initiative is to maintain peace and order in the region and ensure the security of maritime routes.
The primary objective of this Saudi-led coalition is to reduce the ongoing tension in Yemen and bring stability to the region. Pakistan, which shares long-standing brotherly relations with Saudi Arabia, is seeking to further enhance its defense capabilities through this alliance.
Analysts say that this decision could shift the balance of power in the region. Turkey's involvement will provide the coalition with modern technology and military expertise, while Pakistan's role is considered very important in this region from both diplomatic and military perspectives.
On the other hand, the international community is watching this development closely. Many countries believe that such measures will increase pressure on the Houthi rebels, which could pave the way for a peaceful resolution of the ongoing conflicts in the region.
For Pakistan, this decision is also significant because the security of trade routes in the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean is essential for Pakistan's economic development. The government believes that playing a role in regional security will increase Pakistan's influence on the global stage.
