Pakistan and China emphasize de-escalation between the US and Iran
Pakistan and China have expressed deep concern over the rising tensions between the United States and Iran. Both countries have called on the parties to immediately cease military actions and adopt the path of dialogue to establish peace in the region.
According to Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, peace and stability in the region are of utmost importance to Pakistan. Pakistan believes that war is not a solution to any problem and that all disputes should be resolved through diplomatic means.
In its response to the matter, China has also stated that the US and Iran should exercise restraint. China says that it is essential for direct communication to be restored between the two countries so that any major war situation can be avoided.
The international community is also keeping a close watch on this situation, as tensions in the Middle East could impact the global economy and oil prices. This joint statement by Pakistan and China is being viewed as a significant diplomatic effort to restore peace in the region.
