PTI demands transfer of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi to hospital
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has demanded that former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi be transferred to a hospital for medical examination and treatment. The party has said that there are concerns about the health of both, and questions are being raised about the medical facilities available in jail.
According to the report, Bushra Bibi had undergone laser treatment for her eyes. PTI says that after this, she requires proper medical monitoring. The party also demanded that the medical tests of both leaders be conducted under the supervision of doctors so that their health condition can be clearly determined.
Criticizing the government and the relevant authorities, PTI said that methods like "find and hide" should come to an end. According to the party, information regarding the health of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi should be made available clearly and regularly. It said that the purpose of this demand is to bring transparency to the treatment process.
The party has also expressed concern over healthcare facilities inside the jail. PTI says that if necessary, both should be immediately transferred to a hospital so that a full medical examination and treatment can be made possible.
So far, no detailed response has come from the authorities regarding this demand. However, the matter remains the focus of attention in political and legal circles, while PTI continues to insist that Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi be provided with proper medical facilities.
