The most important news of the day is the successful conclusion of the rescue operation for 24-year-old Klaudia. The Polish woman, who was studying in China, fell ill with a serious cancer and needed rapid transport back to the country. Thanks to the help of the Ministry of National Defense, the plane with the patient landed in Wrocław, where Klaudia was placed under the care of specialists.
In international security matters, Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz made an important proposal to the American side. He proposed the establishment of a permanent US military base in Poland. Talks on this subject were held with US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, in the context of changes to the presence of US forces in Europe.

Finally, information from national roads. A fatal accident occurred on the S8 route towards Warsaw. A van hit the back of a truck, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to another. The route was completely blocked, causing major traffic disruptions.
