Poland to provide missiles for Patriot system to Ukraine
Poland is planning to provide Ukraine with another batch of military aid. According to information from the "Rzeczpospolita" daily, the new support is set to include missiles intended for American Patriot air defense systems.
This decision is part of the ongoing support that Poland has been providing to Ukraine in the face of the ongoing war. However, government representatives emphasize that one should not expect a large number of missiles to be transferred. It is intended to be only a "small number" of missiles, which stems from the need to maintain an adequate level of security for the country itself.
Patriot systems are crucial for protecting Ukrainian cities from Russian missile attacks. Poland, which possesses its own units of this type, has been actively supporting Kyiv since the beginning of the conflict by providing both equipment and ammunition. The government in Warsaw notes that every decision to send weaponry is carefully analyzed in terms of the Polish army's defensive capabilities.
Military experts point out that every additional missile for the Patriot system significantly increases the chances of effectively defending the Ukrainian sky. Although the provided aid will not be massive, it holds great symbolic and practical significance for strengthening the Ukrainian anti-missile shield.
At this moment, Polish authorities have not provided detailed information regarding the delivery schedule or the exact number of missiles being transferred. The situation remains fluid, and the public is awaiting official confirmation of the details of this operation from the Ministry of National Defense.
