Hurricane Isaias hits the USA: tragic toll of victims and destruction
Powerful Hurricane Isaias has swept through the territory of the United States, causing serious damage. The storm brought with it strong winds and torrential rains, which led to widespread destruction of infrastructure across many states.
According to the latest information provided by emergency services, at least four people have died as a result of the hurricane. Local authorities had warned residents about the dangerous weather conditions, but the scale of the phenomenon proved very difficult to manage.
The effects of the hurricane are still being felt by thousands of residents. In many regions, power lines were downed, leaving hundreds of thousands of customers without electricity. Technical crews are working to restore power, but repairs could take several more days.
