Polish technology in space: Creotech Instruments to support European mission
Polish company Creotech Instruments has become an official partner of the prestigious ASTRAL project. This is a European mission whose main goal is to test satellite refueling technology directly in Earth's orbit. The participation of the Polish enterprise in such an advanced undertaking confirms our country's growing role in the space technology sector.
The ASTRAL project is of key importance for the future of space exploration. The ability to refuel in orbit will extend the operational lifespan of satellites, which currently become useless debris once their resources are depleted. Thanks to new technical solutions, satellites will be able to serve for much longer, which will impact the efficiency of research and telecommunications missions.
Creotech Instruments, a company based in Piaseczno, is known for providing advanced electronics and control systems for the space industry. As part of the ASTRAL project, Polish engineers will be responsible for delivering key components that will enable the safe execution of the complex refueling process in harsh space conditions.
The success of this mission could open up new opportunities for the Polish space sector to collaborate with the largest agencies in the world. Participation in the ASTRAL project is another step toward the development of Polish technical expertise and strengthening Poland's position as an important player in the global space market.
