Major technical break at PKO BP: Customers must prepare for disruptions
Customers of Poland's largest bank, PKO BP, should prepare for significant disruptions in accessing their accounts. The bank has announced a long technical break, which will take place this coming Sunday.
Maintenance work will begin on Saturday night and last for a total of over 12 hours. During this time, users will not be able to use basic banking services, which may affect the planning of payments and purchases over the weekend.
According to the bank's announcement, the internet services and the iPKO mobile application will be primarily unavailable. This means that customers will not be able to log in to their accounts, make online transfers, or check their account balances online.
The bank recommends that all its customers carry out necessary financial operations in advance. It is worth ensuring that cash is withdrawn or important payments are made before the technical work begins to avoid problems during the break.
Technical breaks are necessary for updating banking systems and improving the security of customer data. Once the work is completed, all services should return to normal operation, and access to accounts will be restored.
