Licheń to host unique competition: Firefighters from around the world to face off in the Firefighter Combat Challenge
In the near future, the town of Licheń will become a hub of sporting excitement for emergency services. It will host the Firefighter Combat Challenge Poland, a prestigious competition for firefighters that attracts participants from all corners of the globe every year.
As many as 200 competitors will stand at the starting line of this year's edition. The competition will feature not only representatives from Polish fire departments but also guests from many European countries and the United States. This event is an excellent opportunity to test physical fitness and practical skills under difficult conditions.
The Firefighter Combat Challenge is known for its extremely high level of difficulty. Participants must demonstrate not only strength but also speed and precision while performing tasks that resemble a firefighter's daily duties during rescue operations. Each of them must complete a demanding obstacle course while wearing full turnout gear and carrying heavy equipment.
The two-day event in Licheń is not just a sporting competition, but also a spectacle for the public. The organizers emphasize that the competition aims to promote the firefighting profession and integrate the international community of rescuers. For spectators, it is a chance to see up close just how demanding the work of those who ensure our safety truly is.
