The largest bank in Poland, PKO Bank Polski, has issued an important announcement for its customers. This coming Sunday, August 23, electronic banking users should prepare for temporary difficulties in accessing their accounts.
According to the information provided by the bank, the technical break will begin at midnight on the night from Saturday to Sunday and will last until 6:00 a.m. During this time, customers will not be able to log in to the iPKO online service or use the IKO mobile application.
The bank explains that the break is necessary to carry out maintenance work aimed at improving the quality and security of digital services. During these six hours, access to electronic banking will be completely blocked for all users.
Experts advise those planning urgent transfers or other banking operations to complete them in advance. It is worth remembering that during the maintenance work, customers may also encounter difficulties when using certain payment card functions online.
After 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, the systems should return to normal operation. The bank apologizes to its customers for any inconvenience caused by this break and asks for understanding regarding the necessity of upgrading IT systems.
