Major police operation: Drug gang linked to football hooligans dismantled
Polish and Czech police have conducted a joint operation aimed at dismantling an organized criminal group. Officers arrested a total of 24 people suspected of drug trafficking and other criminal offenses in both countries.
Investigators determined that members of the group were closely linked to football hooligan circles. The gang was involved not only in the distribution of illegal substances but also profited from other criminal activities, which posed a serious threat to public safety in the border region.
The operation was the result of long-term cooperation between services from Poland and the Czech Republic. Thanks to the exchange of information and coordinated actions, police were able to strike at the group's structures simultaneously in both countries. The detainees have already been charged, and the case is ongoing.
This event demonstrates the importance of international cooperation in the fight against organized crime. The authorities have announced further actions to completely eliminate the group's influence on local communities and ensure greater safety for residents of the border area.
