Record turnout at Poland Business Run in Warsaw
Last Saturday, August 30, the latest edition of the Poland Business Run charity race took place at Warsaw's Bemowo Airport. The event attracted a record number of participants who came together to help those in need of support in regaining their physical fitness.
In total, over 3,800 people took part in the run. The main part of the event consisted of corporate relay races, in which employees from various companies competed on the course while simultaneously promoting a healthy lifestyle and team integration.
The organizers emphasize that this year's edition was unique not only because of the large number of adult runners. The youngest participants also appeared at the starting line, as well as unusual guests—robots—which gave the event a modern and innovative character, attracting the attention of many observers.
Poland Business Run is an initiative that has been combining sports with social activity for years. The funds raised during the Warsaw edition will be donated to the purchase of prostheses, rehabilitation, and psychological support for people with physical disabilities.
The success of this year's run shows how important helping others is to the residents of the capital. The organizers are already announcing further activities, hoping that next year's edition will gather an even larger group of people with big hearts.
