Half a billion zlotys for the development of the Polish space sector
Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) has announced the creation of the Vinci Space Tech Fund. It is the first investment fund in Poland to focus entirely on supporting modern space technologies. 500 million zlotys have been allocated for this purpose, marking a significant step toward the development of Polish innovation.
The goal of the new fund is to finance Polish enterprises engaged in research and the creation of advanced solutions for the space sector. The investments are intended to help domestic companies more quickly develop technologies that can be used for both commercial and scientific purposes.
ICEYE, one of the leaders in satellite technology, has become the fund's strategic partner. Cooperation with such an experienced entity is intended to provide substantive support for young companies and facilitate their entry into the international space technology market.
Experts emphasize that the Polish space sector is developing very dynamically. Thanks to these new financial resources, Polish companies will gain the chance to compete with the biggest players in the world. The BGK initiative aims to strengthen Poland's position as an important point on the map of the European economy based on modern technologies.
