Poland strengthens its defense: more F-35 fighter jets to arrive in the country
The Polish Air Force is preparing for a significant strengthening of its defense potential. This coming Friday, five modern F-35 multirole fighter jets will arrive in Poland. This event is a key element of the ongoing modernization process of the Polish military.
Thanks to this delivery, the total number of such aircraft in Poland's possession will rise to eight. F-35 aircraft are considered among the most technologically advanced fighter jets in the world, which significantly increases the operational capabilities of the Polish Air Force within NATO structures.
Representatives of the Ministry of National Defense emphasize that the delivery process is proceeding according to plan. At the same time, Polish authorities are in talks with the administration in Washington to maintain the pace of transferring subsequent units. Stable equipment deliveries are a priority for ensuring the country's security in the current geopolitical situation.
Investment in modern aviation is one of the most important points of Poland's defense strategy. The introduction of fifth-generation fighter jets allows for more effective protection of Polish airspace and better cooperation with allies from the North Atlantic Alliance.
It is expected that upon arrival, the new aircraft will undergo necessary technical procedures before being integrated into regular service. The expansion of the F-35 fleet serves as a clear signal of Poland's determination to build a strong and modern army.
