Ministry of Foreign Affairs: MEP Bielen had no authorization to discuss the Polish government
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued an official statement regarding the actions of MEP Bielen. The ministry reported that the politician had not received any authorization to conduct talks abroad concerning the composition of the Polish government.
The matter gained prominence following media reports, including those by Telewizja Republika. These reports suggested that the MEP may have attempted to negotiate Poland's internal political affairs with foreign partners. The Ministry has firmly distanced itself from these actions.
The head of Polish diplomacy, Radosław Sikorski, addressed these reports, emphasizing that foreign policy and matters regarding the formation of the government fall under the jurisdiction of the appropriate state authorities.
