Poland plans to build an artificial intelligence gigafactory
The Polish government is currently analyzing the possibility of introducing a special act that would enable the construction of a so-called artificial intelligence gigafactory. This is a project of immense importance for the development of modern technologies in our country and across Europe.
AI gigafactories are the largest European infrastructure program, aimed at creating advanced computing centers. Such facilities are essential for training complex artificial intelligence models, which will allow for faster innovation across many sectors of the economy in the future.
The realization of this investment in Poland, however, depends on key decisions made at the European Union level. Poland must align its plans with EU guidelines regarding funding and technological standards in order to fully benefit from European support.
The potential adoption of a special act could significantly accelerate the investment process, facilitating, among other things, issues related to land acquisition or access to electricity. For Poland, participating in this program is an opportunity to secure a significant place on the technological map of Europe.
