Russian missile violated Polish airspace
On Thursday morning, a dangerous incident occurred in eastern Poland. During a massive Russian missile attack on Ukrainian territory, one of the cruise missiles violated Polish airspace. The object entered our country's territory and remained there for some time, which triggered an immediate response from Polish services.
The Polish Armed Forces reported that the missile entered deep into the country near the town of Oserdów in the Lublin Voivodeship. The object was monitored by Polish radar systems the entire time. After crossing the border, the missile traveled over an uninhabited area, then left Polish airspace and returned over Ukraine.
This situation led to an increase in the combat readiness of the Polish Air Force. Polish and allied aircraft were scrambled in emergency mode to ensure the safety of residents. Military authorities emphasized that all procedures were implemented to protect Polish skies, and the situation was constantly monitored by the command.
This is another such incident in recent months, serving as a reminder of the threats resulting from the ongoing conflict across our eastern border. The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and government representatives are analyzing the incident to take appropriate diplomatic and military steps in response to this violation of the country's sovereignty.
