Poland Business Run: runners help people with disabilities
Preparations are underway across Poland for the next edition of the popular charity event, Poland Business Run. It is a business relay race that combines physical activity with helping those in need. This year, thousands of employees from companies across the country will once again stand at the starting line to support people with physical disabilities.
The rules of the race are simple: each participant has to cover a distance of 4 kilometers. Although for many participants this is just a few dozen minutes of effort, for the beneficiaries of the campaign, it means a real change in their lives. The entry fees paid by companies are entirely allocated to the purchase of prostheses, wheelchairs, and professional rehabilitation for people who have lost their mobility as a result of accidents or illnesses.
The organizers emphasize that the Poland Business Run is not just a sports competition, but above all, the integration of the business community around an important social cause. The event enjoys immense popularity in the largest Polish cities, such as Krakow, Warsaw, and Poznań, where thousands of runners representing hundreds of companies appear on the routes every year.
Thanks to the commitment of the participants, the foundation organizing the race funds support for dozens of people each year. Every kilometer covered by a runner brings the beneficiaries closer to regaining their independence and returning to full professional and social activity.
In summary, the Poland Business Run is an excellent example of how sport can be combined with helping others. This initiative shows that the collective effort of employees can bring tangible benefits to those who most need support in their daily functioning.
