Polish technology supports the development of offshore wind energy
PGE Baltica, a company within the PGE Group responsible for the development of offshore wind farms, has entered into a new technological partnership. The company has signed a letter of intent with the Polish enterprise Chordata, which specializes in modern IT solutions.
The goal of this cooperation is to utilize Polish technologies to support offshore projects, namely offshore wind power plants. Chordata will provide advanced tools that will assist in data management and the optimization of operational processes during the construction and operation of farms in the Baltic Sea.
Investments in offshore wind farms are a key element of Poland's energy transition. By utilizing local suppliers and innovative solutions, Poland aims to increase its share in clean energy production, which is expected to bring benefits to both the environment and the national economy.
The partnership between PGE Baltica and Chordata demonstrates that Polish technology companies are increasingly becoming important partners in large infrastructure projects. This collaboration aims not only to streamline technical work but also to build a strong base of expertise in the renewable energy sector in Poland.
