Poland supports European innovation: ETCI 2.0 initiative launched
Poland has officially joined the group of European Union member states supporting the development of modern technologies through the European Tech Champions Initiative 2.0 (ETCI). This is an important event for the European digital market, aimed at strengthening the position of technology companies on the international stage.
The goal of the ETCI 2.0 program is to provide better access to financing for European enterprises that are in the rapid growth phase. Thanks to capital support, innovative companies from Poland and other EU countries will be able to compete more effectively with giants from the USA or Asia.
This initiative is a continuation of the efforts undertaken as part of the first edition of the program. Member state governments emphasize that investments in the technology sector are crucial for building Europe's economic independence and creating new, high-quality jobs.
Poland's participation in this project opens up new opportunities for domestic start-ups and technology companies. Thanks to joint funds, Polish entrepreneurs will gain the chance for faster development of their projects and easier expansion into foreign markets.
Experts assess that engagement in ETCI 2.0 is a significant step toward the digital transformation of the Polish economy. In the coming months, we will learn the details regarding how to apply for funds and the criteria that interested companies will have to meet.
