Record turnout at Poland Business Run: nearly 48,000 participants
This year's edition of the Poland Business Run concluded as a massive organizational success. Nearly 48,000 people took part in the charity run, setting a new record in the event's history. The sporting competition once again attracted thousands of employees from companies across Poland, who joined forces to support people with physical disabilities.
The official start of the event took place on August 30 in Warsaw. More than 3,800 participants gathered at the Bemowo Airport to compete in relay races. The atmosphere on-site was highly enthusiastic, and the runners tackled the designated distances with great commitment, while promoting a healthy lifestyle and integration within the business community.
Poland Business Run is not just a sporting event, but above all a social initiative. Funds raised from entry fees are donated toward the purchase of prostheses, wheelchairs, and rehabilitation for those in need of support. Thanks to the high turnout this year, the organizers will be able to help a record number of beneficiaries.
The success of this year's edition demonstrates the great popularity of charity runs in Poland. The organizers are already announcing the continuation of the project next year, hoping for even greater involvement from companies across the country. This event has firmly established itself in the calendar of the most important running events in Poland.
