Poland is building a new deep-water port in Świnoujście
Poland has officially begun the implementation of a major infrastructure project called "Cape Pomerania." The project involves the construction of a modern, deep-water container port in Świnoujście, located in the northwestern part of the country.
The cost of the entire undertaking is estimated at 2.5 billion dollars. The investment aims to increase the handling capacity of Polish ports and strengthen the country's position in international maritime trade in the Baltic Sea.
The new terminal in Świnoujście will allow for the servicing of the largest container ships, which currently cannot enter many other Baltic ports due to waterway depth restrictions. Thanks to this solution, Polish ports will become more competitive compared to other transport hubs in Europe.
The construction of the port is a key element of Poland's economic development strategy. It is expected that the investment will bring new jobs to the region and significantly impact the development of logistics and transport throughout the country.
The implementation of the "Cape Pomerania" project is one of the most important maritime investments in Poland's history. Construction work aims to transform Świnoujście into one of the most important transshipment hubs in this part of the continent.
