Poland invests 753 million PLN in modern defense technologies
The Polish government has announced the allocation of 753 million PLN for the development of innovative projects in the defense sector. These funds will be used to implement 29 different research and technological programs aimed at strengthening the country's security.
The funding is being provided under a program called PERUN. It is an initiative that supports Polish companies and scientific centers in creating modern solutions for the army. Through these investments, Poland aims to become more independent in the production of advanced military equipment.
The supported projects include, among others, modern communication systems, unmanned technologies, and advanced protective materials. The selection of the 29 projects was preceded by a detailed analysis of the needs of the Polish military to ensure the highest possible effectiveness of the new solutions.
The Prime Minister emphasized that investments in research and development are crucial for national security in the face of the changing geopolitical situation. Modern technologies are intended not only to support soldiers but also to develop the Polish defense industry.
The implementation of the PERUN program is one of the most important steps in the process of modernizing the Polish army. Thanks to these funds, Polish engineers and scientists have the opportunity to create technologies that will serve the country's security for years to come.
