Polish tourists are increasingly planning this year's vacation outside the country. The latest data shared by Google shows that the number of searches for the phrase "holidays abroad" on the Polish internet has increased by as much as 210 percent compared to the same period last year.
Experts in the tourism industry point out that the main reason for such high interest in trips is the desire to avoid unpredictable weather in Poland. Many people fear that the summer months in the country may bring variable temperatures and frequent rainfall, which makes it difficult to plan a successful vacation.
The popularity of foreign destinations is also due to the availability of travel agency offers and the increasing number of flight connections from Polish regional airports. Tourists are looking for places where sunny weather is almost guaranteed, which allows them to better plan their free time and take a break from daily responsibilities.
This trend shows a clear change in the consumer behavior of Poles. Although domestic resorts still enjoy interest, foreign destinations are becoming the primary choice for many people for their summer vacation. Google data confirms that vacation planning is starting much earlier this year than in previous seasons.
