New ammunition factory in Niewiadów: Poland increases defense potential
The Niewiadów Group presented its latest achievements in defense technology during the "Range Day" event. The main highlight of the meeting was the announcement of the construction of a modern factory, which is set to significantly strengthen the Polish defense industry.
According to the announcements, the new production facility will be capable of manufacturing up to 180,000 shells per year. This investment is a response to the growing needs of the Polish army and the changing security situation in the region. Increasing domestic ammunition production is a key element of the strategy to strengthen the state's defense independence.
During "Range Day," invited guests were able to see a demonstration of the equipment's capabilities in practice. Live-fire exercises were one of the main attractions of the event, aimed at demonstrating the effectiveness of the technological solutions offered by the Niewiadów Group.
At the same time, information emerged regarding changes to the modernization plans for Black Hawk helicopters. The military has decided to abandon the modernization of some of its existing machines, which shows that priorities regarding the procurement and maintenance of military equipment are currently being reviewed.
Developing ammunition production factories in Poland is an important step toward becoming independent of foreign supplies. These investments are intended to ensure that Polish soldiers have constant access to necessary equipment, which is the foundation of the country's modern defense.
